This place looked absolutely gorgeous after the snowfall in early February 2019. That's all I had to say. Well worth the bus ride.

Amazing place. Good for hiking
Lovely, beautiful place right on doorstep. Walk dog for 1-2 hours depending on route. As someone else said ,watch out for cows-know they graze the area but nuisance if right across pathway with no other way and wouldn't take risk with dog.
Quiet nature reserve. Nice to be able to get away from the cities. English countryside is always pleasant.
