We have been here a few times now, and our two year loves this zoo. Our last visit was for Santa's Grotto 2018 which was well presented and great for all ages. Definitely worth a visit with or without the grotto. Animals are all well kept and look happy. Given the space they have is vast, you can see they have used it well.
Brilliant experience, really enjoyed it. Think it would have been better on a warmer day as a lot of the animals were hiding from the cold! Food was cold though and not the best. Service was good and prices weren't too expensive considering we're a captive audience. Would definitely go again!
A great family day out.The weather has to be good otherwise the day can be no fun.Kids will love it - acres and acres of free space for them to Roam.Tip - If you want to use the large kids indoor play area it may be wise to go book a time slot as soon as you arrive.You can not just turn up and play.There is a large outdoor area that does not need to be booked.Take a picnic and enjoy the wildlife
We are members and visit regularly. The restaurants have been vastly improved in recent years. We pop in for lunch or just a cup of tea. It's a nice place for a walk or picnic. Oh, they also have animals.
Great zoo! It is huge! I highly recommend the train ride to see some of the animals. They have great programs and themed events such as "Boo at the Zoo". There is an indoor and outdoor door play area. I would recommend a packed lunch, but there are cafes on site.
