Full of promises , which don't happen and poor customer service.Paid for an exhaust and remap package. Exhaust is great, but made elsewhere (Ryan at Bicester heritage village) they only fit it.However- the catalyst modification isn't your catalyst, it's a stock scrap one (don't tell you before the work), -they can't remap alot of cars on a rolling road (despite what they tell you when selling you in the package)- they haven't remapped newer ECU and it's all trial and error. They say they'd "written a map" however had never read my ECU . - the owner had me waiting all day as he'd double booked. I even did an errand to speed it up but the work wasn't completed.- so the car wasn't remapped that day, I've been asking for a refund on that for 5 months. However after seeing on forums the damage they have done to some cars I was probably lucky.I've been asking for a refund for 5 months, looks like a legal matter soon.I was going to get other work like suspension and new alloys done here. Not with the poor and rude attitude of the owner.
Been to some great alfa garages in the past, sussex alfa romeo, italia tec in derby. This was a dire experience. Had powerflex bushes installed and tracking done along with a refurbished sub-frame. When I picked up the car on a sunday (when they were closed), it was not only filthy with flecks of white paint all over the car (which must have been some external painters near where it was parked...) but the steering wheel was at 3 o clock to go in a straight line. I phoned them in the morning and was told in a very rude manner that it must need a new steering rack and they don't fit refurbished and the new ones cost close to 1500 quid. There was no apology whatsover. The other work I had done at autolusso came in over budget at 1300+ and I was expecting a better customer experience. So I got a second opinion at a different garage and was told they had been poorly fitted and I needed a new track rod end. Less than 100 quid later, she was fixed. Called autolusso and they wouldn't even reimburse me for the tracking job saying they told me to come back in (which they only did after I told them of the second opinion...). Avoid at all exorbitant costs.
I have been coming here 3 years to date with my rare 159 Q4 sportwagon all the way from Birmingham it's out the way but the service I receive keeps me coming back. Recently these lads bent over backwards to get all my work done in half a day..cheers lads very much appreciated as always. From day dot these guys have been fantastic. Ned (A.K.A Mr Alfa on the forums) his knowledge is second to none and his open way of talking is an attribute I appreciate. Nathan who is generally front of house is another member of Neds team who is very respectful and straight talking and also has always gone out of his way to help.In a nut shell I give these guys 5 stars cheers again lads I'm sure I will be seeing you again.Kind regardsKris
They replaced a leaking exhaust additive bag, but left the old one still full of oil and with the rubbish in my boot without my knowledge. It could have leaked all over the inside of my car if I hadn't of found it. Not very impressed after paying good money to get the repairs done. Got charged 55 to see the leak and then 55 labour again to replace the said item plus parts and VAT. A little poor when I overheard a mechanic in the background saying it only took a couple of minutes to fit.
