Very big, very busy pub. You know what you're getting in a 'spoons so all good.
Fast table service if you use the app. Cheap food and drinks. Great value for money.
Unfortunately I did not have a good experience here - Saturday night they had run out of the beer we ordered, ran out of the food we ordered and when our second choice of food arrived it did not have everything on it - because they had run out, as we were staying nearby we thought we'd try it again for Sunday breakfast, we thought it may have just been a one off as they were busy on the night, it wasn't, the service was slow, had to wait for hot drinks as the machine needed sorting, tables were left uncleared and unclean and the breakfast was lukewarm. Very disappointing.
Was a lovely, sunny September morning and was good to eat outside, over-looking the park. I enjoyed a vegetarian breakfast (with gorgeous veggie sausages!) and mug of tea and "him indoors" had a fry-up with a cider, which cost 9.99 and was served quickly (which came in handy, as we were a bit pressed for time!) Great for a quick and excellent value bite to eat.
