We went there for a private function. The buffet was just right and the bar staff were great.

Used to be my "local" many moons ago. Now that it's under fairly new ownership, it's had a lick of paint, and a bit of freshening up. Beer (the reason I go occasionally) was very good. Beer festivals are held here too. Nice but small courtyard garden to the rear. All in all, a lovely little town centre boozer!
