Just had 1 of the best fish & chips experience in over 5 years but it is Pete's I would expect nothing but the best from them and they deliver time and again.... Chips freshly made and the Cod very nicely battered not over cooked and not too much oil either made me wish this shop was available all over the world I'd be happy.
Usually my go to chippy but now the standards have decreased. Ordered there and got cold, old rubbery chips on a Friday night!! Called up and the manager said they should be warm because they were in the warmer - Not good enough.The new management/ownership has put such a good chippy down.
Under new management the place is now 100% Halal so they will have more of the locals able to eat there. Service is friendly and food is made fresh to order. High quality tradional English chippy with pies to match. They are award winners and deserve to be so.
